POSITIVA LIV - ATT LEVA MED HIV/AIDS 7 september-29 oktober
En stor, internationell fotoutställning som lyfter fram starka personliga berättelser om vad det innebär att leva med hiv & aids. Utställningen har turnerat i USA, Europa, Australien, Afrika och Asien och utmanar attityder, schablonbilder och fördomar kring hiv & aids. Utställningen som består av ca 200 bilder är ett unikt projekt som genom fotografi och intervjuer visar verkliga berättelser från människor som lever med HIV/AIDS. Network Photographers - en grupp prisvinnande fotojournalister har genom samarbeten med människor runt om i världen, aktivister, läkare, sexarbetare och personer som lever med HIV/AIDS dokumenterat de sociala och känslomässiga aspekterna av den globala HIV/AIDS-epidemin. Positiva liv visas i samarbete med den internationella biståndsorganisationen ActionAid. Positive Lives - positive responses to HIV/AIDS An exhibition to change attitudes. Positive Lives is a unique international photographic project by Network Photographers that uses photography and interviews to share real stories of people living with HIV and AIDS. As a collection of images, Positive Lives focuses on personal testimonies of those at the heart of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It offers extraordinary insights into the lives of individuals, families and communities who are affected by HIV/AIDS, reflecting the issues and emotions which confront them in the daily reality of working with the disease. A group of international, award-winning photojournalists worked with NGOs, activists, doctors, sex workers and people living with HIV/AIDS in many countries throughout the world. The first exhibition opened in London in 1993. It then toured many places including Europe, Africa, Asia, the USA and Australia. The exhibition has touched over six million people and received critical and public acclaim wherever it has been shown.
